Ghanaian fashion designer Mabel Simpson soaring high above the skies

The fashion and design world continues to welcome new players. In Africa especially, the number of creative heads who have taken to mainstream fashion and design, has been encouraging.
Africa’s established and budding names in the trade are not only adding up to the numbers, but they’ve been able to carve niches of their own, each one of them, selling a unique brand identity.

Young, Ghanaian fashion designer Mabel Simpson of the mSimps brand, is a great example of how Africa’s young people, when given a chance, can chart successful paths.

This August marked some three years after she quit a good ‘white collar’ job to follow her heart – fashion.
